What Emilio does
Emilio acts on behalf of a business owner to keep their business information correct across the platforms they connect, such as their WhatsApp Business profile and their Google Business Profile. It performs actions the owner asks for, like updating opening hours or business details.
Information we process
- Messages you send to Emilio, so we can understand and carry out your requests.
- Your contact details, such as your WhatsApp number and email address.
- Business profile information on the platforms you connect, including your Google Business Profile account and locations, business hours, address, and related listing details.
How we use it
- To perform the actions you request, such as updating your hours or business information.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the service.
- To communicate with you about your account and the service.
We do not sell your personal information.
Google user data
Emilio's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We access your Google Business Profile only to view your locations and update your listing at your request. We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with others except as needed to provide the service to you.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run Emilio, such as messaging, language model, and hosting providers, and only as needed to deliver the service. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Data retention and deletion
We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service. You can disconnect a connected platform at any time, and you can ask us to delete your data by emailing hola@tryemilio.com.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
